We did have a lot of rain last week, but the Cambridgeshire Fens, where I live, are prone to flooding. As an area,it is very flat and very near or even below sea level in parts. I think it is not unlike Holland and in fact a lot of the dykes and drains around here were masterminded by the Dutch engineer Cornelius Vermuyden in the 17th century - so we have quite a connection to your country!anniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03414143391795492586noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3507847840574420605.post-19569848009340413072016-03-16T18:24:24.637+00:002016-03-16T18:24:24.637+00:00I never realised so much rain had fallen in the ar...I never realised so much rain had fallen in the area around Cambridge. I followed the NHS 'couch to 5k' programme. I think it's good to run with someone as well, as I find motivation really hard some mornings - the cosy bed often seems a much better option!anniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03414143391795492586noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3507847840574420605.post-54095342176932199772016-03-13T22:19:27.547+00:002016-03-13T22:19:27.547+00:00Very impressed by the running.
