What to do with an old bird box.......

Having seen several nice bug hotels in local garden centres, it was Mr Digandweed's idea to to use an old bird box ( spurned by generations of birds ) and some offcuts of bamboo to make our very own bug hotel for the allotment, in the hope that the ladybirds will find it more of a des res than the birds did!
