Christmas countdown week 1.

It's December! Did you get snow? 

Sadly, no snow here to welcome the month of festivities, but instead, I thought I would do a little festive countdown with a suggestion for an easy Christmas nibble each week until the Big Day.

So, here are some crispy filo pastry parcels with a savoury mushroom filling, ideal with drinks or with a salad for something more substantial.

 

As is usual at this time of year, I have pen and paper and the lists are getting longer by the day!

How about you? Are you ready and set to go or just making a start on the preparations?

It's going to be Christmas cake making for me today, so that will be one thing crossed off!
